TOWARDS MULTILINGUALISM

Pupils learn and make Foreign Languages something common at school from all the activities they practise both in their curriculum and with the extracurricular tasks that they work.

The aim we follow consists of working their language competence little by little from all the four basic linguistic skills, paying more attention to oral learning at the beginning of their learning.

As they are improving their level of knowledge, they can get different Degrees and at the end of this process, when they are studying Bachillerato, they have the possibility of reaching a Dual Degree, Bachillerato Dual Español y Americano.

  • Teaching curricular contents in English.
  • Attendance to different Plays performed by native speakers.
  • Language Immersion Days when pupils finish each school period.
  • English camps during the summer for pupils in 4th, 5th and 6th of Primary Education.
  • Splitting groups of pupils in Primary Education.
  • A Language Assistant taking part in both curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Permanent training of teachers working in the school.
  • Exchange programmes with other pupils coming from Pau (France).
  • Pupils Language immersion in Ireland or in England.
  • Possibility of taking a language course in England during the summer.
  • Stays abroad for a term or even for the whole year.
